Premiering as a staged reading, this brand-new bilingual (Spanish and English) play by National Latino Playwriting Award Winner Marisela Treviño Orta draws on Mexican, Peruvian, and Central American folklore to tell a magical realist tale of family, identity, and resistance.
Commissioned by The Liberty Theatre Company and developed with the support of the Sun Valley Playwrights Residency, this new play is made possible thanks to a grant from the Spur Community Foundation.
